HLTHPS006 Assist Clients with medication
Skills and knowledge required to prepare for and provide medication assistance and complete medication documentation. It also involves supporting a client to self-administer medication.
HLTAAP001 Recognise healthy body systems
Skills and knowledge required to work with basic information about the human body and to recognise and promote ways to maintain healthy functioning of the body.This unit applies to any worker who needs to use and interpret information that includes references to client anatomy and physiology.
This Statement of Attainment skill set requires workers to be assessed in the workplace on at least five(5) occasions using 3 different modes of delivery of medication. You must be able to do this in your work role and be assessed by an approved Assessor.

Limited places available and due to the assessment component it will work best to have a minimum of 3 people from an organisation attending so assessment can occur on the same day. Priority of access given to CHSP/CCSP staff.
