About STARS
Skills Training and Resource Service (STARS) has been a trusted support for the
local community, aged care workers, and volunteers since 2001. With a strong
commitment to building capacity across the sector, STARS plays a vital role in
strengthening community-based care and services.
Currently, STARS plans, coordinates and delivers high-quality training and
professional development opportunities tailored to meet the needs of staff,
volunteers, and the organisations that rely on them. Training is offered in
both online and face-to-face formats, ensuring accessibility and flexibility.
Whether it’s upskilling for aged care compliance, volunteer coordination,
cultural awareness, or leadership development, STARS provides practical,
relevant, and engaging learning experiences that empower individuals and
