Easy Care Gardening
Garden Care staff work with teams of trained volunteers to create low-maintenance gardens through weeding, mulching, and pruning.
We also aim to ensure that the garden is safe and provides easy access to regularly used areas of the yard. The service is not a general gardening service but aims to convert the gardens to be easy care and ecologically friendly.
We aim to complete the service through one visit however, one additional follow-up visit can be provided if required. Because our Easy Care Garden Service is delivered by teams of staff and volunteers, the cost is kept low.
When the team visits, they will work for 3 hours, and the cost is determined by the number of people needed for the job. Easy Care Garden and Garden Support services are booked on an annual basis, allowing clients to receive one major service and one smaller service each calendar year.
For each service the cost will be:
- $20 for a 1 or 2 person team.
- $40 for a 3 or 4 person team.
- $60 for a 5 or more person team.
What you can expect from the gardening service:
- Teams work between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm (noon) with a tea break in the mid-morning.
- Team sizes can vary depending on the size of your garden and availability of volunteers.
- Work will be carried out as outlined in your garden plan.
- Your garden plan will be reassessed and updated each visit or as needed.
