Lawn Mowing
The Lawn Mowing Service is part of Garden Care but operates differently from the Easy Care Garden Service and the Garden Support Service. We use a mix of independent lawn mowing contractors and Garden Care staff.
The service keeps your lawn tidy up to 15 times per year. Offered at a subsidised rate.
Your contractor or Garden Care operator will:
- Mow your front yard, back yard and nature strip/verge
- Trim all edges neatly
- Place all clippings in your green waste bin
- Sweep or blow paths clear
- Leave you with a receipt for the service.
Our Lawn Mowing Service is one of our most popular options and is often in high demand. While we may not always have immediate capacity, we can place you on a waitlist for the next available spot.
If we’re unable to assist, we’ll refer you back to My Aged Care who may be able to connect you with alternative options.

Cost
- Price depends on factors such as lawn size, slope, access and type of grass
- The more time and effort required, the higher the cost
- Independent contractors provide a quote for the total fee
- Garden Care generally subsidises 50% of the cost
- You pay the remaining amount directly to the contractor.
