Weโre very proud to congratulate our CEO, Esta Paschalidis-Chilas OAM, on being named a finalist in the Leadership Excellence in Performance Award at this yearโs Leaders for IMPACT Leadership Summit, taking place tomorrow, 12 August.
Nominated by her peers within the Leaders for IMPACT network, Esta has been recognised for the leadership she has demonstrated over the past 12 months.
This award celebrates leaders who provide clear direction, strengthen their organisations and create lasting impact for the people and communities they support.
Being named a finalist is wonderful recognition of Estaโs leadership, vision and commitment to 4Cs and our community.

โค๏ธ Celebrating Aged Care Employee Day
Today, we recognise and thank the dedicated aged care professionals who make a positive difference in the lives of older people every day. Through their compassion, kindness and commitment, they help people stay connected, maintain their independence, and continue to participate in and enjoy their community.
One of those people is Megan. For the past 12 years, she has been helping older people build friendships, enjoy new experiences and stay active in their community through Canterbury City Community Centre`s Social Inclusion and Wellness Program. Her infectious energy and genuine compassion bring joy, confidence and connection to every outing.
We recently caught up with Megan to hear what inspires her, why community and belonging are so important, and what she loves most about working in aged care.

๐ 4Cs Social Inclusion Program has done it again! Our annual Christmas in July lunch at Mt Lewis Bowling Club, Greenacre was a wonderful success, bringing together clients, volunteers and staff for a day filled with great food, laughter and festive cheer.
Every year, this much-loved event gives our social groups the opportunity to come together, enjoy a delicious meal, sing songs, socialise and forget about winter for a little while! โ๏ธ๐ถ
A big thank you to Mt Lewis Bowling Club for welcoming us and to Rockyโs Grill for the fantastic food that helped make the day so enjoyable.

Last week, we said a heartfelt farewell to our wonderful STARS Training and Project Officer, Leonie Puckeridge, as she begins her well-earned retirement. ๐
For the past five years, Leonie has shared her knowledge, passion and dedication, supporting volunteers and aged care workers through her training.

A big thankyou to Guiseppe and his colleagues from MPM Products @applawsanz giving back to the community through volunteering!
As part of Clean Up Australia Day, Giuseppe, a Lakemba local, and his team collected over 50kg of rubbish from the town centre and surrounding residential streets. ๐๐๏ธ
Not only is Lakemba a lot cleaner, but they also saved a stray rabbit.๐ The rabbit was spotted during the clean-up next to the Centre, captured with some carrots and given to one of our staff members to care for while we tried to find the owners.
Good news is Guiseppe is going to join Environment@Lakemba and โTinyโ has settled in beautifully with a loving new family alongside some bunny friends. He`s now one very happy bunny! ๐ฐ๐
