About Community Programs
Each term, we offer a variety of courses and workshops to help you:
- Learn a new skill
- Improve your English
- Boost your employment opportunities
- Stay active and healthy
- Connect with others and have fun!
Our programs are delivered with experienced teachers and Registered Training Organisations, including Macquarie Community College, Sydney Community College, and NSW TAFE. We provide both accredited and non-accredited training opportunities.
All classes are free (eligibility requirements may apply), and childminding is available for many courses.
Regular Courses
Mum 2 Mum – Women’s English Class
A basic to intermediate English class for women with children aged 0–5 years. Build your language skills, confidence, and friendships through formal lessons and playtime with your kids.
- Mondays 9:30–11:30am – Punchbowl Public School
- Mondays 12:30–3:00pm – Hampden Park Public School, Lakemba
English and Basic Computer Skills
Learn English while gaining practical computer skills to build confidence and independence.
- 3 hours per week during school term
Skills for Workplace and Vocational Pathways
Improve your English, confidence, and job skills to prepare for further study or paid work.
- 2 days per week, 9:30am–2:30pm (over 2 terms)
Introduction to a New Career
Explore career pathways in Makeup & Beauty, Floristry, or Costume Design.
- 1 day per week, 9:30am–2:30pm (1 term)
Certificate III Courses
Delivered with Macquarie Community College, these 7-month courses run 2 days per week (9:30am–2:30pm):

Parenting Courses & Workshops
Gain knowledge, skills, and confidence to better understand and support your children and family.
Just for Fun & Wellbeing
Join classes like Sewing, Zumba, Yoga, or Learn to Drive – get active, learn something new, and connect with others.
