Lakemba Community Garden

Established in 2011 in partnership with Canterbury City Council, the Lakemba Community Garden is proudly managed by the 4Cs. It’s a welcoming space where local residents come together to grow vegetables, fruits, and herbs, share gardening knowledge, and promote sustainable living in Sydney.

The garden offers a chance to:

  • Meet neighbours and make new friends
  • Learn and share gardening skills
  • Enjoy time outdoors and get some gentle exercise

Located in Jubilee Reserve (corner of Railway Parade and Bellevue Avenue, Lakemba), the garden features 35 individual plots of various sizes.

Monthly working bees are held on the first Saturday of each month.

Everyone is welcome to visit and enjoy the garden but please do not pick the produce, as it belongs to the individual gardeners who care for their plots.
